Tourists flock to Mount Shasta, California in search of Lemuria, the ancient civilization lost to the ocean. Sandwiched between claims of Bigfoot and flying saucers, the legends tell of a lost Lemurian city hidden deep within the mountain. Some say it exists on a spiritual level, while others insist there are doorways to the underground. And others, like seventeen-year old Ellie Blake, internally roll their eyes and put on their best customer service smile before signing up another guest for a mountain tour.
For Ellie, daughter of the local innkeeper, it all seems like a joke. Lemurian Priestesses spotted on the mountain... Portals ascending to Ancient Lemuria... These people can't be for real.
But when Ellie starts witnessing strange things for herself, the legends become reality–and when the stories converge with tales of vampirism and mysticism, she needs answers. Even if she has to crawl through an underground tunnel to find them.
